Planning of a sustainable factory building in a landscape context for the company Stihl

Factory planning is characterized by a high degree of complexity due to many agents with different backgrounds involved in the process. To succeed in this task requires that these agents, like engineers and architects, work together in an inspiring environment. In the course "Interdisciplinary Factory Planning," architecture, mechanical and civil engineering students collaborate to design a factory for a real client. The planning process is organized in teams, which allow the students to develop creative skills to work in interdisciplinary environments.
