The selected research projects of this report explore different aspects of the influence of art and art practice on the training of architects:
The book project on the visual history of the ground plan outlines an analysis from the perspective of art history and cultural history and presents the contents that can be derived from this medium.
The study of folding structures as a design principle show in what way the adaption of artistic methods such as origami, the Japanese art of paper folding, can be utilized for architecture and technology.

The unity of perception, emotion and thinking is conveyed by the architectural photographs of the avant-garde photographer Sasha Stone.
Furthermore, we show - as usual - the best examples of the design work of our students and the diverse teaching and research activities of our faculty.
